The "grey area" of illegal cashing out of credit cards is expected to be more clearly defined in the law. The Supreme Court is drafting relevant judicial interpretations, while at the end of last year, senior officials from the central bank expressed that they were studying legal systems to combat credit card cashout. Once the relevant interpretations are issued, illegal credit card cashout will not only be a violation issue, but also could be considered as a crime.
