According to Hewitt's statistics on questionnaire data for employees in the 2003 Best Employer Survey, among all factors affecting employee commitment in Chinese enterprises, career development space and opportunities are the top factors for Chinese employees. Likewise, in an online survey about employee commitment conducted by China Human Resources Development Network, 42.74% of respondents believed that career development opportunities were the most important factor, significantly higher than the voting rates for other factors.
After understanding the factors that influence employee commitment, the human resources department can then take targeted measures to improve employee commitment.
