The "2007 Shanghai College Student Entrepreneurship Week" concluded yesterday. During the entrepreneurship week, relevant forums were held at universities such as Shanghai University and Tongji University. The tripartite focus of schools, entrepreneurs, and investors centered on one topic: How can college students "act within their capabilities" when it comes to entrepreneurship? Is starting a business only about "being the boss"? At the forum, during an on-site survey of students' motivations for entrepreneurship, "wanting to be the boss" and "not wanting to work for others" became the mainstream answers. Experts pointed out that entrepreneurship actually means greater social responsibility for students. If the motivation is盲目 (blind/irrational), merely starting a business for the sake of entrepreneurship itself, they may not be able to go further.
