From November 26, 2008 to December 23, one diamond. On January 12, 2009, became two bricks, on February 12, three bricks, and on March 12, four diamonds. The profit in December exceeded 3000 yuan, with a monthly turnover of 30,000 yuan. In February, the profit exceeded 8000 yuan, and the monthly turnover exceeded 100,000 yuan.
Success, everyone pursues it. The definition of success in everyone's heart is different, but for most people, the definition of success is roughly: make a lot of money. Here I will not talk about the common big truths, because everyone knows the big truths, so there is no need for me to waste my breath.
How to succeed? What to do after succeeding? If you want to succeed, you must consider these two questions. Many people only consider how to succeed, thinking that the issues after success can be thought about later, which is not feasible. Why? You can refer to examples of billionaires committing suicide during the financial crisis, or billionaires or their children being kidnapped. When you think about this question, you might not want to succeed anymore, but I have to say that this is also not acceptable. But if your parents want to enjoy their old age and you cannot provide for them, when your friends and classmates drive Mercedes-Benz and BMWs and greet you, are you content? Let me give you a more practical example: if you or your relatives get a strange illness that requires a large amount of medical expenses and you cannot afford it, can you only endure the torment or watch your loved ones suffer...
Do we really need to succeed? I'll answer for you: yes. Let's look at the first example of a billionaire committing suicide. These kinds of people actually lack psychological resilience; they rushed onto the path to success without considering what to do after succeeding, and as a result, collapsed at the first setback. For the second example, such occurrences have become fewer with the progress of the times, and such situations often arise from being too ostentatious, careless, or doing something morally wrong. Paying attention can significantly reduce the probability of occurrence.
Now, I am going to talk about improving psychological resilience. Cultivating good psychological resilience not only allows you to remain calm in the face of setbacks, but also makes the process smoother and achieves twice the result with half the effort. The methods I will discuss may seem a bit abstract, but I have tried my best to make the language simple. If it were any simpler, it would lose its value. These methods are based on my own personal experience. It is not easy to improve psychological resilience, and it requires training (otherwise, if everyone had strong psychological resilience, wouldn't that be disastrous?). Here, I will explain the training methods to give everyone a clear goal.
One: Reducing the other party to particles
All things in the world are composed of particles, including you, your opponent, your customer, and your boss. Why do we feel differently about different people in our daily lives? Because different people carry different value attributes (the value attributes carried by a person refer to their position, identity, educational level, etc.), and these value attributes influence your psychology. What you need to do is to ignore the value attributes carried by the other party and mentally reduce them to particles! Since everyone is made up of particles, then where is the distinction between high and low, noble and humble?
Two: Reducing the information output by the other party into encoded data
The information output by the other party refers to speech and behavior. When we receive the information output by the other party, we combine it in our minds. Once successfully combined, it becomes something that affects our emotions. What we need to do is prevent the information from being combined in our minds. As long as it is not combined, the other party will not affect our emotions. When the other party speaks or acts, you should think: what kind of behavior is this, why does he do this, what result does he want to achieve, should my emotions be controlled by him? When the other party starts to output information, you must control your emotions and try to encode the other party’s information to stop the source of bad emotions. Here, let me give an example of Bill Gates.
Many years ago, when Windows did not exist, he went to invite a software expert to join Microsoft, but the expert ignored him all along. Finally, unable to withstand Bill Gates' "incessant harassment," the expert agreed to meet once, but upon meeting, he scolded loudly, saying, "I've never seen an operating system worse than Microsoft's." Bill Gates did not get angry at all, instead, he sincerely said, "It's precisely because we are not good enough that we invite you to join us." The expert was stunned. Gates' humility brought the expert into Microsoft's camp, and this expert became the head of Windows, finally developing the world's most popular operating system.
In this example, Gates successfully reduced the data output by the expert into encoded data. What kind of behavior was this? It was an insulting behavior. What was the reason for his behavior? He didn't want to join Microsoft. What result did he want to achieve? He wanted to make me angry, so I wouldn't hire him. Should my emotions be controlled by him? No. After decoding was completed, Gates did not show any anger, leading to the expert joining Microsoft afterward.
Three: The power of philosophy
Thales told people with facts: philosophers can earn a lot of money if they want to. Because the essence of philosophy is to simplify complexity. We usually behave like this, seemingly chaotic and complex matters, as long as we find their patterns and essence, we can handle them well. Philosophy is about restoring the essence, and humans are nothing more than talking monkeys. Imagine, what reason do you have to fear a monkey? Changes in all things are just like an ocean, with highs and lows. When you see through all this, why should failure make you sad?
Method one to acquire philosophy: read philosophical books. I recommend Plato's "Crito", Seneca's "Philosophical Therapy", and Freud's "Introduction to Psychoanalysis" (which discusses psychology). This was recommended by a psychological expert I highly respect, it seems pretty good.
Method two to acquire philosophy: self-create philosophy. Because I don't like reading much, I haven't read any philosophical books, hehe, but I have created my own philosophy in my heart. There is some IQ requirement for self-creating philosophy, but not very high. When you lie down alone in bed late at night and contemplate, think about the essence of the universe, the essence of man, why do people speak and survive... When you finish contemplating, you will find that everyday matters are so trivial.
Four: Gaming Life
Life is actually not much different from playing games. Is the world we live in real? Are the things we see and touch every day really existing? No one knows. Because all the information we obtain is discerned by the brain, the brain receives information from the eyes and determines that the world exists. However, if someone has no eyes, we simulate eye information with a computer and transmit it to his brain, he can still see things, but they are illusions. Since what he sees is an illusion, what reason do you have to say what you see is real? You may not understand. Let me explain it more clearly. It's as if every person in the world doesn't physically exist, each person's brain is in a factory, with many wires plugged into our brains continuously inputting information, then this is an illusion, you have no evidence to prove otherwise.
Everyone knows that the game world is an illusion. In the game, you don't have to worry about anything, you don't care how the characters in the game look at you, you only focus on the results of your actions. In fact, the difficulty of games and reality is about the same. Most games may be very easy, but some games are already as difficult as reality. Although they are as difficult as reality, many players still pass through. Why can they pass through in the game but not in reality? This is because in reality, you need to bear pressure, while playing games, you don't. What you need to do is imagine yourself as playing an ultra-realistic game (you may already be in a game), use your wisdom, and play out the best ending!
Five: A new attitude, a new atmosphere
A and B are playing chess. B loses a few pieces due to a mistake and gives up. At this point, C who passes by takes over for B, and then C wins. B is greatly surprised, usually B and C's chess skills are about the same, and C is slightly inferior to B, how could C win after taking over? This is because B and C see different things. B sees the pieces beside him that he lost, while C sees the pieces left on the board that have not been eaten yet. Seeing different things leads to different mentalities, which is quite normal. How many times have you been B in reality? If you change your mentality to C's, you might succeed! Entrepreneurship fails, you only lose money! What remains? You still have the experience of failure.
