Introduction to the properties of Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)

Among the fluoroplastics, the consumption of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is the largest and its application is the widest, hence it is an important type of plastic. PTFE features excellent performance in withstanding high and low temperatures, good chemical stability, fine electrical insulation, non-adhesion, weatherability, flame retardancy and self-lubrication, which earns it the beautiful name of "the king of plastics".
