In order to alleviate the employment difficulties for college students and help enterprises find suitable talents, yesterday, the Industrial and Commercial Bureau of OuHai District and the Private Enterprises Association took more than 20 enterprises in their jurisdiction into the University of Wenzhou to hold an internship and employment job fair for sophomore and junior students. Meanwhile, in order to encourage college students to start their own businesses, Jiang Jianfeng, deputy director of the Industrial and Commercial Bureau of OuHai District, issued business licenses to 14 college students from Oujiang College who started their own businesses.
Yesterday afternoon, the 2009 "Cooperation between Schools and Enterprises for Scientific Development" series of activities kick-off ceremony and internship and employment job fair co-sponsored by the Industrial and Commercial Bureau of OuHai District of Wenzhou City and the Oujiang College of Wenzhou University and undertaken by the Private Enterprises Association of OuHai District was held at Chashan. A total of 24 enterprises participated in this activity, providing more than 200 positions, mainly targeting sophomores and juniors. Successful applicants will go to various enterprises for internships during the summer vacation, and outstanding ones can stay directly in these enterprises after graduation.
According to Chen Jiangfan, Secretary General of the Private Enterprises Association of Ouhai District, Wenzhou, "At present when the financial crisis is going on, it's hard for university graduates to find jobs, and enterprises always hope to hire employees with working experience in order to reduce training costs. Therefore, we built such a platform so that students on campus can get in touch with society as soon as possible, and enterprises can also have a longer cycle to test whether talents are suitable or not."
