Full Efforts Rescue At 11:27 AM on October 3, a landslide occurred at the Yang Rurong Quarry in Hua Ying Pu He Qing, Fengyi Town, Dali City. One person was trapped. The Dali Fire Special Operations Team rushed to the accident scene and successfully rescued the worker who had been buried under a massive rock for an hour.

According to reports, the trapped person was using a pneumatic drill to bore holes under the massive rock. Since the rock had previously undergone blasting and segmentation treatment, the vibrations during drilling were quite large, causing it to suddenly break. The workers didn't have time to escape and were buried under the collapsed rock. It was preliminarily estimated that each piece of the rock weighed nearly 5 tons, and the survival status of the trapped person was unknown. The rescue officers worked together with the workers, digging with hoes and hands, moving the soil and rocks bit by bit. Time passed second by second, and everyone had one belief: to rescue the buried person as soon as possible.

At 11:50 AM, the people digging the tunnel ahead let out a shout of surprise when they saw the hoe used by the trapped person. By this time, the tunnel had already reached nearly 1.5 meters deep under the massive rock.

At 11:57 AM, the hand of the trapped person was dug out...

At 12:03 PM, the hand, waist, and hips of the trapped person had become visible. Since the person had been trapped for more than an hour, the rescuers pushed the trapped person gently and called his name. The trapped person moved his hand slightly and let out a painful groan. He was still alive! He was still alive!! Hearing the shouts, there was a cheer among the rescue site.

"This is truly a miracle," said a rescue worker who has been involved in excavation work for many years. At this point, since the tunnel had already reached nearly 2 meters deep under the massive rock and the soil quality was relatively soft, any slippage or slight movement of the rock could endanger the life of the trapped person. In light of this situation, the team commander decided: First, to provide further support and fixation to the exterior of the rock to ensure that the rock does not slide forward; Second, to provide support inside the nearly 2-meter tunnel, especially close to the position of the trapped person.

At 12:25 PM, the soil beneath the trapped person had been excavated, and his body could move. The rescue officers grabbed the clothes of the trapped person, slowly pulling him out from the tunnel and quickly handing him over to the waiting 120 medical personnel for treatment.
