To help the elementary school English teachers in our county better understand and grasp the textbooks, the Research and Teaching Office held a training session on the sixth-grade elementary school English textbook and teaching methods on March 1st. The topics included elementary school English, English lesson plans, third-grade elementary school English, third-grade elementary school English, elementary school English teaching, fourth-grade elementary school English, primary Oxford English, fifth-grade elementary school English, sixth-grade elementary school English, elementary school English lesson plans, and elementary school English textbooks.
A total of 136 teachers from across the county participated in this training session. Based on research that revealed the current situation of English teaching by grassroots elementary school English teachers, and considering that a large number of teachers are just beginning to take on English teaching duties this term, the training aimed to help these teachers quickly adapt to elementary school English teaching and standardize classroom instruction. Therefore, the training was conducted by Wen Xiaoping, the English curriculum researcher of the Research and Teaching Office, who provided training on standardized elementary school English classroom teaching for the participating teachers. Ding Ping, another English curriculum researcher at the Research and Teaching Office, focused on analyzing the structure, content organization, writing intent, key points, and difficulties of the "New Standard" English textbook. Specific requirements were also proposed regarding examination points and later-stage reviews.
During this training, the teachers followed the rules, listened attentively, and took careful notes. Everyone felt that they gained a lot through this textbook training and hoped for more such trainings in the future.
