The Training on Elementary School English Textbooks and Teaching Methods in Xuyong County Has Come to a Successful Conclusion

To help the elementary school English teachers in our county better understand and grasp the textbooks, the Research and Teaching Office held a training session on Grade Six English textbooks and teaching methods on March 1. A total of 136 teachers from across the county attended this training session.
Based on the actual situation of English teaching at grassroots elementary schools as understood through research, and given that a significant number of teachers have only started teaching English this term, in order to enable these teachers to quickly adapt to elementary school English teaching and standardize English classroom teaching, this training was conducted by Wen Xiaoping, the English researcher of the Research and Teaching Office, who trained the participating teachers on the norms of elementary school English classroom teaching. Ding Ping, another English researcher of the Research and Teaching Office, focused on analyzing the arrangement style, textbook structure, compilation intentions, teaching priorities, and difficulties of the "New Standard" English textbook for elementary school English teachers, and provided specific requirements regarding textbook test points and later-stage reviews.
During this training, the teachers adhered to discipline, listened attentively, and took careful notes. Everyone felt that they had gained significantly from this textbook training. They expressed hope that there will be more such trainings in the future.
