How to Make Delicious Sweet and Sour Ribs
Ingredients:
- Ribs
- Light soy sauce
- Dark soy sauce
- Salt
- Oil
- White rice vinegar
- White sugar
- Ginger
- Scallions
Steps/Methods:
1. Wash the ribs thoroughly, then marinate them with light soy sauce, shredded ginger, salt, and oil. Store in the refrigerator overnight.
2. Heat a non-stick pan with oil, lay the ribs flat, and slowly fry until golden brown on both sides. Add a little dark soy sauce for color.
3. In another pot, add an appropriate amount of boiling water, white rice vinegar, and white sugar. Place the fried ribs into the pot (the water should cover the ribs). Simmer over medium heat for 40 minutes until the ribs are tender and fragrant. Thicken the sauce over high heat and sprinkle with scallions before serving.
Notes:
The marinating time for the ribs can be 20 minutes, several hours, or even overnight. If you want the ribs to have more flavor, patience is required.
