The preferred CNC control system in the machine tool manufacturing industry is the core of the numerical control machine tool. Many large CNC machining plants and large computer milling plants have developed and produced numerical control systems. More CNC systems make full use of PC software and hardware to develop economical numerical control systems to meet the needs of the general public users, improve the matching of CNC system products, and process mechanical equipment panels. In addition, small PLCs are also widely used in the machine tool manufacturing industry. Surveys show that among the various control systems chosen by users in the machine tool manufacturing industry, 45% of users choose CNC, and 75% of users choose PLC. China's machine tool industry not only faces the good opportunity for the development of manufacturing equipment stimulated by the demand to enhance the level of equipment manufacturing, but also encounters the intense market competition pressure brought by economic globalization. Accelerating the development of the CNC machine tool industry has become a realistic requirement for the development of China's equipment manufacturing industry. In recent years, the output value of China's machine tool industry has continued to grow at a high level, remaining third in the world. The growth rate has been maintained at over 30% in the past two years, and the output of CNC machine tools has continued to increase significantly. China has been the world's largest consumer for six consecutive years. In 2007, China's machine tool consumption accounted for 21.7% of the world's total machine tool consumption, and the domestic market share of domestically produced machine tools reached 57.4%. In terms of imports and exports, the trade deficit of China's machine tool industry continues to rise, but it dropped for the first time in 2007. The export of China's CNC machine tools is accelerating continuously. In most categories of machine tools where imports have decreased year-on-year, the import of CNC systems and components continues to grow rapidly. Driven by the national revitalization of equipment manufacturing and international industrial transfer, the growth rate of investment in equipment and tool purchases in China will remain at 20% in the next 5-10 years, and the demand for the machine tool industry will continue to grow rapidly. Taking all factors into account, it is estimated that the growth rate of the machine tool and tooling industry in 2009 will still be around 30%. Surveys show that 72.5% of users will increase their purchasing budget.
