Emotional disputes: Boy extorted for 600 yuan
Wang (15 years old) dropped out of junior high school and started working. In May 2011, Wang met a girl named Xiao Min through a friend's introduction. They frequently went out together to surf the internet. In September, one day, Wang received a call from Xiao Min who said she had just broken up with her boyfriend and hoped that Wang could go to her place to keep her company. Wang happily went over, thinking he might start a relationship with Xiao Min.
At Xiao Min's place, Wang began consoling her and moved in for a hug, then started getting handsy. Perhaps Wang's behavior scared Xiao Min, as she grabbed her coat and ran out of the house. Seeing there was no chance, Wang returned to his place alone.
About half an hour later, Wang received a call from Xiao Min's boyfriend, Zhang, asking him to come to Xiao Min's place for a talk. When Wang arrived at Xiao Min's house, he saw Zhang and two other young men inside. Zhang immediately scolded Wang, accusing him of raping Xiao Min and demanded that Wang pay 1000 yuan as their rent since they needed to find a new place to live, or else the matter wouldn't be resolved.
Afraid of the situation escalating, Wang reluctantly agreed to Zhang's demands. Since he couldn't gather that much money at once, he eventually gave them 600 yuan. At the time, Zhang did not provide Wang with a receipt.
Retaliation for a friend: Four minors rob man at night
After the incident, Wang kept thinking about it and felt like he had been tricked. But without evidence, he didn't know how to resolve it. On the evening of November 8, Wang was hanging out with some friends at a discotheque in Weicheng District when he encountered Zhang. They exchanged greetings and then went their separate ways.
At this point, Wang told his friend Duan about his "grudge" with Zhang. Duan pointed at Zhang dancing and said, "Isn't he the one who asked you for money? I'll get it back for you." Hearing someone willing to stand up for him, Wang was very pleased and nodded in agreement.
A while later, another friend of Wang's, a 16-year-old girl named Sun, also came over to inquire. Wang recounted his dispute with Zhang to her. After hearing the story, Sun approached Zhang. Shortly after, Zhang left the dance floor with another male youth heading towards the exit of the discotheque.
Wang, Duan, Sun, and the fourth member followed them. Once Zhang had walked a certain distance, Duan and the others rushed forward, questioning Zhang while beating him up. Duan kicked Zhang in the head, and Sun slapped him across the face.
After a severe beating, Zhang pleaded for mercy, admitting that he shouldn't have asked for money and promised to return the money to Wang. Subsequently, they snatched two mobile phones from Zhang and his friend and left triumphantly.
16-year-old girl surrenders herself
Seeing the phones being stolen and himself being beaten, Zhang angrily reported the incident to the Chengguan Police Station. On November 22, after investigation by the police officers from the Fifth Criminal Investigation Team of Weicheng Public Security Bureau, they gained knowledge of Duan and Wang's whereabouts and successfully apprehended Duan, Wang, and another individual Ji. The three males were aged 15, 15, and 17 respectively.
Upon learning that their actions were exposed, the 16-year-old girl Sun became flustered and ultimately surrendered herself to the Weicheng Public Security Bureau on December 20. Sun is 16 years old, has dropped out of school, and has previously worked in a supermarket and a KTV. She met the other individuals while playing at the discotheque.
On the 27th, the reporter visited the Fifth Criminal Investigation Team of Weicheng, where Deputy Captain Qiu Jiacheng informed that all four suspects have been apprehended. Due to involvement in juvenile crime, all four have been placed under bail by the public security authorities.
