Exposure of Intel's Full Range of Ivy Bridge Processors

Tech Sina News, March 3rd - Recently, a product list from Intel was leaked, revealing the full range of Ivy Bridge processors. This includes 17 desktop processors and 11 notebook processors.

Industry insiders have noticed that six desktop processors and at least one notebook processor are missing from this list, though most of these are low-end Core i3 processors.

For desktop processors, Intel will release several Core i5 processors ranging from the low-end 2.3GHz i5-3570T to the high-end 3.4GHz i5-3570. Except for the dual-core 2.9GHz i5-3470T, all other processors in this category are equipped with 6MB cache and do not use Hyper-Threading technology. Most of these products come with the HD 2500 graphics core, only two integrate the faster HD 4000.

For notebook processors, Intel's entry-level offerings will include low-voltage Core i5 and i7 processors running at 1.7GHz, 1.8GHz, and 2GHz. These are designed for Ultrabooks. Traditional dual-core processors include the 2.5GHz Core i5 and 2.9GHz Core i7. Among these processors, only the Core i7 processors adopt quad-core technology. These products target the high-end market and all come with Hyper-Threading technology and the HD 4000 graphics core.

Intel has previously stated that large-scale shipments of Ivy Bridge processors will be delayed until June. However, based on the information in this product list, Intel will begin shipping some of these processors as early as this spring. (Viking)
