Highly talented pop artist Al Stewart has released his latest album titled *Russians and Americans*, and wow! It’s really a good one. I wish it weren’t the case, but it’s not every day that I get a CD from an artist that I can just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. There's usually a song or two that I just can’t force myself to get through. Not at all the case with *Russians and Americans*. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish. Al Stewart is one of those musicians who has the ability to just win you over with his talent. The kind of artist it’s really a treat to be able to listen to. Listen to this CD, and I believe you’ll find there’s not much to dislike about it. The songs are inspired, the production is simply outstanding, and Al Stewart is clearly in top form. So much so that if you’re even mildly into pop music, you’ll enjoy this album.

While the entire album is outstanding, the truly standout tunes are Track 2 - "Rumours Of War," Track 4 - "Accident On 3rd St," and Track 14 - "The World According To Garp." My bonus pick, and the one that got stuck on "Repeat" for me, is Track 1 - "The One That Got Away." It’s a great track!
