"Harry Potter" is a series of seven novels created by British female writer J.K. Rowling. The series has been translated into nearly seventy languages and has sold over 450 million copies cumulatively in more than two hundred countries. This imaginative "magic mom," Rowling, has brought laughter and tears to countless people and given Harry Potter fans around the world a beautiful dream.
The "Harry Potter" films have swept the globe for a decade and are among the most influential works on a large number of cinephiles. "Harry Potter" also spurred the development of related cultural industries, including games, theme parks, and themed cities. Here, the editor mainly introduces the Harry Potter Theme Park. Hollywood plans to invest ten billion dollars in building a Harry Potter theme park that will replicate scenes from the movies and novels.
Warner Bros. has partnered with Universal Studios Orlando to create a "Harry Potter Wizarding World" within Universal Studios Orlando based on the "Harry Potter" series of novels, which will be part of the "Islands of Adventure" theme park. This "Wizarding World" will become part of the Universal Studios Islands of Adventure theme park. The "Islands of Adventure" theme park is located at the Universal Orlando Resort. After its completion, the Harry Potter theme park will become the "sixth island" of the "Islands of Adventure" park.
The target audience for the "Harry Potter Wizarding World" ranges from ages 7 to 67 and includes all populations. The park features rides, interactive attractions, shops, special restaurants, and other mysterious projects never experienced by visitors. The original author, J.K. Rowling, will also contribute to the planning of the park. Regarding this, Rowling stated: "I've already seen their plans, and it's very exciting. I believe fans of both the movies and books will not be disappointed."
The "Harry Potter Wizarding World" will be designed based on the stories and characters from Rowling's original works, inviting dozens of artists, including Craig, the set designer for the "Harry Potter" movie series, to participate in the construction. According to reports, visitors to this theme park will be able to see some of the most iconic locations from the book, including Hogsmeade Village, the Forbidden Forest, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and Platform 9¾. Visitors can also explore deep into the castle's core, visiting Headmaster Dumbledore's office and the magical supply stores in the village. Additionally, visitors can dine at the Leaky Cauldron, buy chocolate frogs and butterbeer in the shops of Hogsmeade Village, and purchase wands in Diagon Alley. However, they will still need to use Muggle currency (dollars) to purchase tickets and merchandise. If you find this not stimulating enough, you can experience staying in one of the four Hogwarts houses' common rooms (Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Slytherin) at night.
J.K. Rowling, the author of Harry Potter, has provided a lot of assistance herself. Fans of Harry Potter can personally witness his mysterious magic in the park, especially American friends who can get a sneak preview. Thanks to the rapid advancement of technology today, many fictional plots have gradually turned into reality: recently, American scientists discovered something akin to an invisibility cloak that allows an airplane to avoid detection (which is really amazing); scientists have also identified brain tissue through experiments on rats that can erase human memory—removing it caused the rat to lose part of its memory (it forgot how it avoided lightning five months ago). Prior to this, some people who lost memory due to car accidents finally found the cause, and next steps will focus on how to recover memory faster.
In the park, there will be: 1. Books of Harry Potter 1~7; 2. Photos of actors from Harry Potter and J.K. Rowling; 3. Costumes and emblems from various schools featured in the Harry Potter movies... Each item has a different price.
For over a decade, J.K. Rowling has been creating dreams, and Harry Potter can be said to be a novel that has accompanied several generations as they grew up. The protagonists in the book grow alongside the readers, facing various difficulties and confusion, which is one of the reasons why it has such a large fan base. Secondly, the influence of the movies has introduced many people who haven't read the novels to the magical world, dazzling special effects and star participation earning it numerous cinephiles. Thirdly, derivative merchandise maintains the connection between fans and the "boy wizard." The success of the Harry Potter theme park owes much to these three aspects working together.
