Thyroid Tumor Hospital ［Station News］On July 4th, the special research activity "Love Surging in Quancheng" of Shandong University School of Life Sciences was officially launched at Wuhan Thyroid Treatment Hospital, Wuhan Tianan Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital. The team members then carried out a series of cancer prevention and anti-cancer publicity activities. On July 4th, the team made arrangements for the activity itinerary and work process, and determined to conduct preliminary research in Quancheng Square and Daming Lake area. Through publicity, many citizens gained new understanding of cancer-related knowledge. On July 7th, the team went to North Street Community of Nanxin Avenue, where they explained dietary cancer prevention knowledge to the citizens through exhibition boards and brochures, playing a good role in popularizing cancer prevention knowledge. While expanding the research area on thyroid nodules, the team also expanded the age range of the research subjects. On July 8th, the team members went to Huaiyuan Square, a gathering place for the elderly, to carry out further questionnaire surveys, which were warmly welcomed by the elderly. Currently, the "Love Surging in Quancheng" practice team has completed the distribution, collection, and organization of questionnaires. Next, the team will further carry out publicity activities so that more citizens can understand cancer, healthy living, and stay away from cancer.
