The 19-year-old rescued young man, Qin Liang, lives in Group 11, Wu Xi Village, Wu Ji Town, Shuyang County. He and Sun Tong met when they were working outside and later became good friends who often visited each other.
On October 25th, Sun Tong and his younger brother Sun Peng took the 19-year-old young man Qin Liang and drove a small boat to visit "Wangsha Island" inside Hongze Lake. On their way back, the diesel engine of the small boat emitted black smoke and broke down. Regardless of how long it had been, I still remember...
At this point, it was time to return with favorable winds, so Sun Tong let the boat drift with the wind. Meanwhile, the brothers Sun Tong and Sun Peng used bamboo poles to paddle the boat to increase speed. After paddling for a while, the two brothers felt tired and placed the bamboo poles casually on the bow of the boat.
Qin Liang, who did not know how to paddle the boat, curiously picked up the bamboo pole, wanting to try paddling the boat to reduce the fatigue of the brothers Sun Tong. Finally, Sun Tong's family and many fellow villagers arrived by boat one after another.
