Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, January 30 (reported by Tu Ming and Li Jinghua) - Taking advantage of the convenience provided by their ticketing platform operations, four individuals including Sun from the original Guizhou Panorama Ticketing Aviation Service Company altered adult air tickets to children's half-price tickets, then resold them at a markup to adult passengers, illegally profiting over 1.44 million yuan. The four individuals were prosecuted for suspected fraud. On January 30, it was revealed by the Chaoyang District Court in Beijing that the court has accepted the case.

The prosecution accused Sun of using his operated "Guizhou Panorama Aviation Service Co., Ltd." and "Guiyang Leluo Aviation Ticketing Co., Ltd." ticketing platforms between November 2010. During the process of booking China International Airlines tickets for passengers, Sun entered forged passenger identity numbers into the booking system, did not mark "CHD" child identifiers to obtain reservation codes, and during the ticket issuance process, did not follow the automatically generated pricing instructions but instead changed adult tickets to children's half-price tickets. He sold these tickets to passengers at a price higher than the children's half-price while settling the ticket payments with the airline at the children's half-price rate. Through this method, Sun obtained 443 China International Airlines tickets, defrauding over 320,000 yuan in ticket payments, fuel surcharges, and airport construction fees from China International Airlines.

In December 2010, after conspiring with Mou and Wang, Sun repeated the same scheme, using the ticketing platforms of "Guiyang Leluo Aviation Ticketing Co., Ltd." and "Guizhou Tengda Aviation Travel Service Co., Ltd." From December 2010 to January 2011, they obtained 1,465 China International Airlines tickets and defrauded over 1.12 million yuan in ticket payments, fuel surcharges, and airport construction fees from China International Airlines through settling at the children's half-price rate.

The prosecution believes that Sun, Mou, and the other four individuals disregarded national laws, fabricated false facts to defraud state property, and the amounts involved are particularly huge. All should be held criminally responsible for fraud.

Currently, the case is under further review.
