On February 21, Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee member and Deputy Governor Chen Zhaoxiong visited Hunan Hengrun High-tech Co., Ltd. located in the Jiuhua Economic Development Zone for a survey. Chen Zhaoxiong pointed out that the automobile market competition in Hunan is intense; Hengrun High-tech needs to do a good job in development planning and avoid homogenized competition. It should strengthen harmonious cooperation among enterprises and form its own advantages through technological innovation. It should also accelerate the pace of listing and financing to achieve leapfrog development.
The heads of relevant provincial departments including the General Office of the Provincial Government, the Provincial Economy and Information Technology Commission, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Provincial Finance Department, the Provincial Land and Resources Department, and the Provincial Construction Department participated in the survey, along with city leaders Hu Weilin, Tan Wensheng, Yang Qinpeng, etc.
Hengrun High-tech is an automobile manufacturing enterprise integrating road maintenance and sanitation special-purpose vehicles production. In recent years, it has become a rising star in Hunan's equipment manufacturing industry. Since its establishment in 2006, after enduring market trials and tribulations, it has rapidly grown into an excellent dedicated automobile manufacturer in Hunan Province. It is one of the drafters of the national bridge inspection vehicle industry standards, a "Top 100 Private Enterprises in Hunan Province," a "Demonstration Enterprise of the Four Thousand Projects for Accelerating New Industrialization in the Province," and a "Key Listed Backup Enterprise in the Province." At the end of last year, after being reviewed and approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, it obtained the qualification to produce dedicated operation vehicle chassis, becoming the third enterprise in Hunan Province to have this qualification after Sany Heavy Industry and Zoomlion Heavy Industry.
Chen Zhaoxiong visited the general assembly plant of Hengrun High-tech, inspected various types of bridge inspection vehicles and sanitation special-purpose vehicles produced by the enterprise, and continuously asked about the basic situation of the enterprise. The person in charge of Hengrun High-tech gave detailed answers on the side. Chen Zhaoxiong also watched on-site the demonstration of the sanitation sweeper produced by the company. According to the introduction, most traditional sweepers only have high-pressure flushing functions, and the sewage swept away will flow to the roadside, causing secondary pollution. However, this type of sweeper has both high-pressure flushing and water absorption functions, leaving no sewage or residue after cleaning. "Chen Zhaoxiong nodded in satisfaction and encouraged: "To make the enterprise bigger and stronger, it must have its own technical advantages, characteristics, and markets."
In the subsequent symposium, Chen Zhaoxiong watched the corporate promotional video of Hengrun High-tech and listened to reports on the development of the enterprise and the Jiuhua Economic Development Zone.
Chen Zhaoxiong pointed out that with the advancement of new industrialization, the automobile industry in Hunan has gone through a development process from small to large and from weak to strong. Currently, the automobile industry in Hunan Province is continuously developing and strengthening, producing a very complete range of vehicles, and the overall situation is quite promising. Last year, the automobile sales in Hunan Province went against the trend and achieved remarkable results. He said that to make the automobile industry in Hunan bigger, stronger, and better, it is not only necessary to vigorously support leading automobile enterprises but also fully develop related supporting enterprises to achieve orderly and healthy development of the province's automobile industry.
Chen Zhaoxiong said that although Hengrun High-tech was established not long ago and its scale is not large, its development momentum is very good, and the market space is broad. He encouraged the enterprise to learn from others' strengths, do a good job in development planning positioning, and avoid homogeneous competition. It should play to its strengths, widely cooperate with complementary enterprises and universities, enhance its own technical advantages, and make full use of the capital market to promote the enterprise's listing process, achieving leapfrog development. Regarding issues raised by the enterprise such as base construction, financial support, and preferential purchase of local products, Chen Zhaoxiong expressed that the provincial government and relevant departments will provide full support, help enterprises solve difficulties, and promote their great development.
