Daan News - A scavenger found parts of a human body while rummaging through garbage bags outside a public toilet. The Bozhou police issued a notice stating that the victim was a woman about 40 years old. In addition, they offered a reward of 50,000 yuan for relevant clues.
On the afternoon of February 25th, a scavenger discovered a bag containing body parts on Jian'an Road North in Bozhou city. The incident occurred outside an alleyway's public toilet on Fangyuan Qianjie Second Alley.
At around 7 pm, police cars filled the streets at the entrance and exit of the alleyway.
The body parts were originally inside the toilet. Luo Lao Tai, who lives north of the public toilet, introduced that at around 15:00 that day, she saw a woman about 40 years old rummaging by the wall outside the toilet after using it. "That person dumped out the contents of a green woven bag and then left with the bag tucked under her arm."
Seeing what was dumped out, Luo Lao Tai was greatly startled. "It was body parts, I was so scared," Luo Lao Tai said. She then grabbed the scavenger and made her leave the bag behind. "I told her, you can't take the bag away, you need to put it back," Luo Lao Tai said. The scavenger turned around, placed the body parts back into the bag, and returned it to its original place.
Luo Lao Tai mentioned that one of her neighbors also witnessed the scene and subsequently called the police with a mobile phone. "There were two bags, one was a green woven bag used for Chinese herbal medicine, the other was a black bag." Luo Lao Tai said that after the police arrived at the scene, they confirmed some parts of the body.
Luo Lao Tai reflected that these two garbage bags had been placed at the corner outside the toilet for over ten days. "That day, I also came to use the toilet and saw a scavenger fish these two bags out from the women's urinal and then threw them aside by the wall." Luo Lao Tai sighed.
Police offer 50,000 yuan reward for clues
At 16:00 on February 26th, the police had already posted a notice offering a 50,000 yuan reward for clues to solve the case on the utility poles near the entrances and exits of the incident alley. According to the notice, "Preliminary investigation shows that the victim is female, approximately 158 cm tall, medium build, around 40 years old, with black hair about 17 cm long."
It is understood that the police have deployed a large number of forces to investigate this case, and the specific details are still under further investigation.
