Around 3 a.m. on the morning of January 24, 2012, an explosion caused by firework explosives occurred in Dusi Village, Dusi Town, Dengzhou City, due to trivial matters, resulting in 1 death and 4 injuries. After the incident, suspect Zhao Yonghong committed suicide, and suspect Song Yumin (Zhao Yonghong's wife) was arrested. Currently, the explosive device has been completely and safely dismantled, and the injured are receiving treatment. The case is still under further investigation and trial.
