Recommended fruits include apples, grapes, cherries, mangoes, peaches, oranges, apricots, grapefruits, bananas, oranges, pears, plums, cantaloupes, papayas, persimmons, etc. Canned or frozen packaged fruits should not be used. Pears and plums are easier to digest when stewed. All fruits can be stewed.
