Strengthen the practice and experience of pre-clinical education in the teaching of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. The number of surgeries involving the head and face, especially orthopedic patients, they are both afraid of surgery, but hope the surgery can eliminate disease problems as soon as possible. The parents of cleft lip and palate show a psychological state of anxiety and fear. Students during preoperative visits help patients face the disease and establish the ideological struggle with the disease; postoperative visits to patients again to understand the disease and encourage them to be positive, and wish them a speedy recovery. This can lead students to live in both the doctor's and patient's perspectives, experience two kinds of feelings, further understanding the doctor-patient relationship. In these ways, stimulate students' sense of responsibility and mission to advance the idea of serving the people wholeheartedly into daily teaching and practice for students. Additionally, we organized several small class group activities to consciously cultivate students' teamwork spirit and collectivism concept. In summary, our teaching team in the pre-clinical education of students grasps the point - to establish a student-centered teaching thinking. Create opportunities for students to think independently and explore ideas; guide students to acquire knowledge through their own efforts and practice, testing knowledge; educate students on dedication, and gradually develop noble medical ethics. Student clinical internships not only do a good job paving the way, but also lay a good foundation for cultivating qualified medical personnel for the new era.
