At the recently held 3rd Human Resources Management Awards Summit, the issue of domestic HR managers lacking professionalism also drew attention from the industry. Zhou Xiaohong, director of the China Human Resources Management Evaluation Research Office, said: "China has around 5 million human resources professionals, but the number of people who have actually studied HR as a major is still very small, accounting for about 20%." HR practitioners mainly work in enterprises, institutions, and some specialized talent agencies, engaging in tasks such as human resources planning, employee recruitment and training, and compensation and benefits management. Lu Zhigang, chairman of the China Enterprise Evaluation Association, also weighed in on this issue.
