On February 18th, the first large-scale high-level talent recruitment fair of Hangzhou this year, organized by Hangzhou Talent Market and Hangzhou High-Level Enterprise Management Talent Evaluation Center, was held. Feng Shaojun arrived at the venue early in the morning to look for a new employer.
Many participating companies at the recruitment fair had a great demand for innovative talents. The "engineer" positions in electronics, electrical, mechanical, automation, computer, biological, pharmaceutical and other majors were abundant. In addition, there were also strategic emerging industry-related positions such as cytology researcher, flow cytometry application research, biosensor R&D engineer, etc., some of which are rarely heard in ordinary recruitment fairs.
"Our CEO has been back from the United States for 10 years, mainly focusing on anti-cancer drugs research, which has now entered the clinical stage. The enterprise development has a great demand for senior R&D talents," said the recruitment officer of Essen BioScience (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd., who offered the "flow cytometry application research" recruitment position. He indicated that with the expansion of the enterprise scale and the entry of drugs into clinical research, more high-end talents need to be reserved, and the treatment will be "absolutely competitive."
Feng Huiqing, Director of the High-Level Talent Evaluation Department of Hangzhou Talent Service Bureau, introduced that since the second half of last year, they have found that some enterprises undergoing transformation and upgrading and innovative enterprises have shown a significant increase in demand for high-end talents, especially technical R&D talents. Many companies are offering high salaries to seek leading experts in some industries, with increasingly higher requirements.
"Entrusted by a large group company in Hangzhou, we are offering a salary of 1 million yuan to recruit a vice president of finance," said Feng Huiqing. This position comes with high requirements: candidates need to have work experience in large enterprises with sales exceeding 5 billion yuan, complete experience in taking a company public, and a background in foreign-funded enterprises, among others.
"A 1 million yuan annual salary is not surprising for such conditions," said the head of a headhunting company. After the Spring Festival, many companies have entrusted them with high-end positions with an annual salary of over 1 million yuan, including stock options and other preferential conditions. Currently, they are urgently helping to find suitable candidates. From the recent headhunting job demands, high-end talents in finance, e-commerce, technology R&D, and operations are the most sought-after.
