On February 9, after the spring rain had just stopped, in a large tea garden of more than 200 mu in Pindan Village, Baitou Town, Hanyang District, Putian City, a young man was instructing the tea farmers on fertilizing, weeding, and pruning branches. He told the author that this is the critical period for the growth of spring tea, and field management must keep up. Every day, he has to walk around the tea garden. This post-80s young man is named Li Xinwu. Since 2006, he has been planting Anji white tea in the village, and the area of the tea garden has been increasing year by year. The sales channel for Anji white tea has been getting better and better, and his attachment to being a tea farmer has become stronger and stronger.
Li Xinwu told the author that after working outside for six years without earning much money, he decided to return to the village to start a business. The geographical location and climate conditions of Pindan Village are very suitable for the growth of Anji white tea. At that time, there were also some people in the village planting Anji white tea sporadically, but it hadn't formed a scale. In order to grow good tea, he started learning in Anxi in 2004. In 2006, he brought back tea seedlings from Anxi and began trial planting in the village, starting with only more than ten mu. To scientifically grow tea, he attended every tea planting technology training course organized by the provincial and municipal agricultural departments. Hard work pays off, two years later he succeeded, and tea merchants gradually came to the mountains to purchase his Anji white tea. Bold and meticulous, he then registered and established the Zhongmin Jinzhen Anji White Tea Cooperative, leading other tea farmers in the village to get rich together by growing tea. Soon, through the "company + farmer" model, Li Xinwu connected with nearly a hundred tea farmers in the village, expanding the tea garden area to more than 200 mu at once. Not only did he hold training classes for the tea farmers to teach them harmless scientific tea planting techniques, but he also purchased their Anji white tea at protected prices, which greatly increased the enthusiasm of the tea farmers for planting tea.
To expand the tea garden, it must follow the one-stop operation path of production and sales. Li Xinwu quickly registered the trademark "Qizhangxiang" for his Tieguanyin Anji White Tea and the trademark "Putian Guanyin Hong" for red tea, and opened specialty stores in the urban area of Putian and Beijing, with very good sales. He told the author that this year he has already increased the registered capital of the original cooperative from 1 million yuan to 4.8 million yuan, and the industrial and commercial department has already approved it. Currently, he is busy teaching the tea farmers connected with the cooperative how to use harmless biological pesticides, striving to achieve the goal of zero pesticide residues in the tea leaves produced by the tea garden, so that his "Qizhangxiang" and "Putian Guanyin Hong" can go beyond Putian and reach the whole country.
