"Panda" Mommy

Today, when I got up and saw the sun outside the window, I felt a warm feeling in my heart that I haven't felt for a long time. Every day after eating breakfast, I take a nap and half a day is gone. In the afternoon, I can only watch TV out of boredom to kill time. Whenever I see the bright sunshine, I always want to go out for a walk. But I've been called a "panda" by them, so I have to stay at home to rest and they don't dare to easily take me out. When I'm extremely bored, I sing nursery rhymes to the little one, and we become each other's only little playmate.

I keep thinking, I must write something down for the little one to see in the future. Mommy, every day I can eat breakfast properly, but the rest of the time I can only endure nausea and vomiting over and over again. My weight has dropped from 53 kg to 46 kg. Sigh, it's really unimaginable! The little one is quite troublesome! The family around me feels uncomfortable just looking at me, so I went to the hospital for a check-up. The doctor said I was as thin as a sprout, so I had to be hospitalized for intravenous nutrition drips. They also drew my blood for examination, and did an ultrasound. Unexpectedly, the little one was growing well, which finally put my mind at ease. In the following week, every day from morning to night, I lay in the hospital corridor, receiving oxygen and three large bottles of intravenous fluids. It's just that the veins in my hands are too fine, so for a whole week, they kept puncturing the same vein on one hand, and eventually, my hand turned blue! However, every day I could see other expectant mothers who were big-bellied one moment and then had their babies born the next. The expectant fathers' careful protection of the newborns was heartwarming to watch. Sometimes, I would exchange experiences with other expectant mothers. They looked at me and said I was too thin, and didn't look well during pregnancy, all feeling sorry for me. I looked at them and also anticipated that joy. Waiting, waiting:::

Fortunately, the treatment results were promising. The nausea and vomiting decreased, I gradually started to eat, and my weight stopped decreasing.

As I saw my body slowly recovering, I went to the supermarket with my family to buy some things I wanted to eat. However, as soon as I arrived, I felt dizzy, broke out in cold sweats, and had to sit down immediately. We returned home empty-handed. I thought it must be due to the poor air circulation in the supermarket that caused the dizziness. Afterwards, I rested at home. Recently, our house in Wuhan became available for delivery, so my cousin drove there once. But while looking around, I got dizzy again, this time sitting down hard on the ground, and my butt hurt. My first reaction was to touch my belly; it wasn't painful. Later, my family helped me sit on a broken stool for a long time before I gradually recovered. Sigh, it's getting more and more worrying each time!

Afterwards, my family dared not take me out anymore, and I became the "panda" in their mouths.

Little one, grandma says you're quite troublesome! After you're born, we'll give your bottom a few good smacks.
