On February 14, 2012, in the Nan'an District of Chongqing, a woman driving an Audi car solicited marriage proposals from traffic police officers. In order to create a romantic atmosphere, the woman had prepared one thousand roses.
The woman, who claimed to be a manager at a company and went by the name Jolly, drove her Audi convertible with one thousand roses on Valentine's Day, 2012, in Chongqing, openly seeking a tall, handsome, and cool single traffic police officer to spend Valentine's Day with.
Around 11 a.m., an Audi A5 convertible was parked outside a newly opened mall near the Nangping pedestrian street. Both the front and side of the car had heart-shaped placards that read, "Looking for a tall, handsome, cool single traffic police officer to have dinner with." The rearview mirror of the driver’s side was tied with a string of heart-shaped balloons, with the largest balloon boldly stating, "I will only marry a traffic police officer." Jolly and one of her friends sat inside the car, waiting for eligible traffic police officers to come forward.
