The Metrology Science Research Institute conducts a re-inspection of water meter calibration equipment
Recently, the Shandong Provincial Metrology Science Research Institute conducted a re-inspection of the water meter calibration equipment at the Wulian County Water Company. After a day of detailed testing, it was determined that all technical indicators of the company's water meter inspection equipment fully comply with the requirements of the "JJG164-2000 Liquid Flow Standard Equipment Verification Regulations" standard.
With approval from relevant departments, the Wulian County Water Company established a water meter calibration station in 1999, purchasing water meter calibration equipment to handle the calibration work for water meters with diameters of 15-50 millimeters in the urban area. The company has continued to increase investment, strengthen management, and subsequently invested over 70,000 yuan to acquire advanced water meter inspection equipment, enhancing its calibration capability to now cover water meters with a 100-millimeter diameter. It also continues to strengthen employee business and technical training, further improving the quality of water meter calibration.
Through this re-inspection, it demonstrates the fairness, accuracy, and standardization of water meter calibration by the Wulian County Water Company, providing reliable data support to ensure accurate water meter measurements for urban users and safeguard their interests from infringement.
