By simulating the ultraviolet radiation in natural sunlight, accelerated weathering tests are conducted on materials to obtain results regarding their weather resistance.
The light source of the desktop xenon lamp test chamber uses a visible xenon lamp with a rated power of 2500W. The lamp tube is installed at the top layer inside the instrument, with the emitted light spectrum energy concentrated primarily between 300~780nm wavelengths.
According to the experimental spectral irradiance, it should not exceed 1~3 times the corresponding solar (average summer equatorial noon) irradiance.
Since the energy output of fluorescent lamps will gradually decrease over time, in order to reduce the impact on the experiment caused by the attenuation of light energy, and to meet the requirement of GB/T19394-2003 No.5-a for irradiance uniformity ±15%, this test chamber is designed with adjustable height for sample testing pieces.
