It has completed the construction of 310 new and expanded small silkworm communal rearing rooms, built 2 collection and drying stations, planted 21,000 mu of new mulberry gardens, and renovated 12,000 mu of low-yield mulberry gardens, conducting specialized training for silkworm farmers reaching 10,000 person-times.
2. The ongoing agricultural industrialization project. With subsidies of 6.8 million yuan from provincial and municipal finances, integration of departments and labor investment of 15.36 million yuan, the project plans to invest 22.16 million yuan. It has completed the renovation of 3,100 standardized small silkworm feeding rooms, built 4 sets of drying stoves. Currently, it is accelerating the variety improvement of 10,000 mu of low-yield mulberry gardens, implementing unified prevention and control of mulberry diseases and silkworm diseases in contiguous mulberry gardens, promoting 2,000 sets of labor-saving silkworm platforms in the new silkworm areas of Shiba Village and Huangguanying Village, and demonstrating and promoting 6 million pieces of grid cocoons in the high-quality mulberry and silkworm bases throughout the county.
