With the deepening of reform and changes in the economic landscape, over the past 20 years, the rise and fall of industries has been most fully embodied in this sector. The "Fu Army" is a famous tale in Jiangcheng's women's apparel industry. Fu Zhiqi started assisting his father Fu Bin in entrepreneurship in 1990 and took over as general manager in 2000, dedicating himself to building the "Zuomei" brand. Despite the ups and downs, today, Han-style fashionable women's clothing may seem somewhat faded, but Fu Zhiqi's entrepreneurial passion remains high. On the twelfth day of the first lunar month, the reporter finally managed to "catch" Fu Zhiqi and listen to his business strategies and life insights, with flashes of wisdom in his words that command respect.

Two generations of passionate entrepreneurship: "Even though it was more than 20 years ago, I still vividly remember the moment when my father took out the accumulated savings of over 300,000 yuan to establish Zuomei Company," Fu Zhiqi recalled. Back then, they rented a 100-square-meter factory, with more than 20 production workers and 20 household sewing machines, and just started working.

In the early 1990s, Wuhan's commerce was unprecedentedly prosperous, and large malls sprang up like mushrooms after rain. "Most malls were located in the urban center, with concentrated consumer groups, large sales volumes, not only being the main channel for domestic clothing sales but also the fashion center in consumers' minds," Fu Zhiqi said, "Zuomei must seize the important sales channel of malls to develop." However, it was no easy task for an unknown product to enter the big malls of Jiangcheng and dance alongside major brands. Heaven rewards hard work. With excellent quality and novel styles, Zuomei finally made its debut at Wuhan Mall, becoming the first private clothing brand of the Han style to enter the mall. After entering the local central mall, Zuomei successfully expanded further into over 100 key malls nationwide.
