Sina Technology news, Beijing time, February 10 evening, Huawei (Weibo) stated on Friday that its global shipment of smartphones reached 20 million units in 2011, a fivefold increase compared to the shipments in 2010.
IDC data shows that Huawei is currently the sixth-largest mobile phone manufacturer globally. Last year, Huawei's consumer products segment, including phones and tablet home computers, set a record high revenue of $6.8 billion, an increase of 40% compared to $4.8 billion in the previous year.
