Yangjiang Jinpeng Garment Industry Co., Ltd. is a large garment production (processing) enterprise specializing in the manufacture of mid-to-high-end men's dress pants, casual pants, and jeans. In recent years, through the continuous efforts of all employees, the company has achieved an annual sales growth rate of 30%. Last year, it completed a production value of 1.8 billion yuan and paid more than 80 million yuan in various taxes. To meet market and customer demands, the company plans to construct a modern factory covering 132,600 square meters in the Hi-Tech Zone's popular fashion clothing and footwear base, with a total investment of 3.2 billion yuan and a construction area reaching 150,000 square meters. The factory is expected to start production next year, with an estimated annual output value of 4 billion yuan after commencement. The project will be carried out in three phases. This year, the first phase involves an investment of 1.2 billion yuan for the construction of 68,000 square meters of factory space, which will provide employment for over 3,000 workers.

In 2012, Yangjiang Hi-Tech Zone aims to achieve significant growth in all economic indicators compared to last year, with growth rates ranking among the top in the city. Chen Yong, member of the District Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee, stated in an interview: "Jinpeng is the first clothing industry enterprise to lay its foundation since the establishment of the Guangdong Garment and Apparel Industry Association in the Hi-Tech Zone. Its groundbreaking marks a good start towards achieving our goals and heralds the beginning of faster construction and renewed brilliance for enterprises in the Hi-Tech Zone in 2012. The Hi-Tech Zone will continue to provide high-quality and efficient services to Jinpeng to ensure the company completes construction and begins production as soon as possible, thereby generating benefits early."
