When they opened the handbag, Manager Yin, Zhu Guangming and customer service center employee Zhang Li were all shocked: inside the handbag was a stack of 100,000 yuan in cash that had just been withdrawn from the bank, with the seal still unbroken. There was also a brown flip-lock wallet, containing a stack of 10,000 yuan in hundred-yuan bills and over a thousand yuan in loose change. When they opened the wallet, they found the ID card of Ms. Wang, a homeowner in the community. Zhu Guangming recalled that about half an hour before the incident, he had seen Ms. Wang waiting in the lobby.
At around 1:10 PM that day, Zhu Guangliang, a newly hired security guard aged 52, was patrolling the rest area of the lobby of Building D in the community when he discovered a brown female LV handbag on an unoccupied wicker chair. Without checking it, he immediately reported to Property Manager Yin Kui and handed over the lost item to the customer service center.
Yesterday afternoon, a touching story occurred at Yijing Garden Community by the Hankou River: a security guard found a famous brand handbag containing over 110,000 yuan in cash and handed it over to the property company manager. When they contacted the owner by phone, the owner was completely unaware as she was preparing to fly to Beijing at the airport. The property manager immediately took a taxi in the snow to the airport and returned all the money and items to the owner without any loss.
Manager Yin quickly arranged the work and immediately took an experienced employee from the customer service center to hail a taxi to the airport. Along the way, Manager Yin kept in touch with Ms. Wang by phone, learning that the plane was about to take off and Ms. Wang would reschedule her flight for after work. After reaching the airport, Manager Yin immediately handed over the lost-and-found registration form filled out at the time and the lost items for Ms. Wang to inspect. After confirming all the money and items were intact, Ms. Wang wrote eight words on the lost-and-found registration form: "All items present, very grateful," and handed over 400 yuan to the two as reimbursement for the taxi fare.
At 2:58 PM, the two from Manager Yin's team returned to the community and informed the reporter: "The total taxi fare was 175 yuan, and the remaining money will be returned to Ms. Wang after the New Year."
The person who braved the snow to deliver the money was Manager Yin Kui of Yijing Garden Community. Afterwards, he told the reporter the details of the incident.
A security guard found 110,000 yuan in cash and turned it in.
Manager Yin hurriedly called Ms. Wang's mobile phone and learned that she was at Tianhe Airport, preparing to board a 2 PM flight to Beijing, unaware that she had lost her belongings. Upon hearing that the handbag was left in the community lobby, Ms. Wang asked Manager Yin to deliver the lost item to the airport, repeatedly saying "help, help" and explaining that she wouldn't have time to return.
