The Tianjin Administration for Industry and Commerce carried out quality monitoring on 20 batches of knitted underwear produced by 20 enterprises in 9 provinces and municipalities, including Jiangsu, Shandong, Beijing, Shanghai, and Tianjin. The test results showed that the quality of 4 batches of knitted underwear was substandard. The industry and commerce department focused on testing 12 indicators of the goods, including instructions for use (labels), formaldehyde content, pH value, water-resistant colorfastness, abrasion-resistant colorfastness (dry and wet friction), and thermal insulation rate. The water-wash size change rate of the men's cotton jersey produced by Qingdao Xiangdai'er Garments Co., Ltd. was substandard. The fiber content index of the cotton wool men's set produced by Jingzhou Hongye Knitwear Garments Co., Ltd. and the Yixueni seamless thermal underwear produced by Guangdong Ruiyuan Technology Co., Ltd. were substandard. The Tangmiddot; Liet brand men's bamboo-cotton Taobao underwear set produced under the supervision of Hong Kong Tanglites Garments Co., Ltd. by Zhangjiagang Tanglites Textiles Co., Ltd. had substandard pop-button burst strength, thermal insulation rate, and fiber content indicators.
