Also called an artist.

Yesterday, I had a close encounter with two teachers, He Li and Lu Xiaohua, during Sohu's evaluation event. The following words are recorded from memory:

Before the camera was invented, everyone relied on portraits to record images, and there were many people who made a living by painting. After the camera was introduced and became mainstream, there were too many painters and not enough work, so many of them switched professions and stopped painting. Those who continued painting became known as painters or artists.

When color cameras came out, the same pattern emerged. Nowadays, fewer people take black and white photos, and those who still do are considered artists.

Similarly, fewer people write with a brush pen these days, and those who still do are considered artists.

Online editors appeared as a profession with the advent of the internet. With the rise of web2.0 and video chatting, now everyone can publish articles online. By the time we reach web3.0 or web4.0, it's likely that the remaining online editors will all be considered artists. Those currently working on online magazines may become artists first.

Additionally, this raises a question: from an environmental perspective, should we advocate for "one phone per lifetime" video chatting, or should phone manufacturers be responsible for recycling old phones?
