In March of 2009, Liam Neeson, a well-known Hollywood actor renowned for his acting skills, lost his wife, actress Natasha Richardson, who tragically passed away due to a skiing accident. This left Liam deeply saddened and unable to focus on the epic action film "Clash of the Titans" for quite some time. More than five months later, Liam finally emerged from his emotional slump and began concentrating on several new films. Recently, he signed on for the thriller "Unknown White Male," directed by Jaume Collet-Serra.

"Unknown White Male" is adapted from Dieter Kovacic's novel "Out of My Head," with a screenplay written by Oliver Butcher and Stephen Cornwell. The story revolves around a man who wakes up from a coma after a devastating car accident only to find that his wife does not recognize him and has remarried another man. To his dismay, this stranger is now living under his identity as if he had vanished from the world. Liam Neeson plays the unfortunate man whose life has been severely disrupted emotionally.

The 57-year-old Irish actor Liam Neeson first gained international fame in 1993 when he starred in the masterpiece "Schindler's List," which earned him nominations for both the Golden Globe and the Academy Award for Best Actor. Since then, he has become one of Hollywood’s most respected actors. In 1996, he won the Best Actor award at the Venice International Film Festival for his performance in "Michael Collins." He also appeared in major films such as "Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace," "Gangs of New York," and "Love Actually," earning another Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor for his role in "Kinsey." Earlier this year, his starring role in the French action film "Taken" grossed $200 million at the North American box office. Before his wife's accident, he also collaborated with Christina Ricci in "The Other Man," a film about a young woman caught between life and death, struggling to survive and not be buried alive. Her fate lies in the hands of a man in charge of funerals, and their differing perspectives on life will determine her ultimate survival. Liam Neeson plays the eccentric funeral director in this film. Additionally, he voices Zeus in "Clash of the Titans."

"Unknown White Male" will be produced by Dark Castle Entertainment and is scheduled to begin shooting in March 2010.
