Shopping online may no longer be the cheapest option. Yesterday, the Beijing Administration of Industry and Commerce released online a draft for soliciting opinions on e-commerce supervision. The draft refines the scope of online shops that need to obtain a business license from the industry and commerce bureau. Online shops which aim to make profit will all need to obtain a license. The Beijing Administration of Industry and Commerce stated that after gathering suggestions from the public, the draft will be officially promulgated at the end of March and implemented within the year.
