A 15-year-old American high school student started a company at her home and began to develop her own products. Within two short years, she and her products have won over the world retail giant Walmart. Don't you want to hear the story of this young entrepreneur?
High School Student Starts Company at Home
Currently 15 years old, Jasmine Lawrence, an African-American girl, is the founder of Eden BodyWorks LLC, with its headquarters set up in her home in New Jersey.
The small living room by the entrance serves as Lawrence's company front desk, where family and friends help her handle business calls. In the kitchen, Lawrence's classmates assist her in reviewing and processing orders. The basement is Lawrence's "production base," where friends package and inspect her products. Unknowingly, Lawrence's company has almost "invaded" every corner of her home.
"I am ready to accomplish great things," says Lawrence, whose maturity far exceeds that of her peers. She states, "A person should never give up on anything they want to do simply because they are too old or too young."
