The online controversy sparked by "Five Stripes" Huang Yibo has yet to subside, as the village chief led a group to beat up the team leader of the neighboring village. Then, netizens posted online claiming that the articles published by Huang Yibo's parents, Huang Hongzhang and Ma Xiaoli, were suspected of plagiarism. On May 5th, a netizen named "Huang Yibo Zong Zhuang Feng" posted on the Kadi Forum stating that the article "System is More Reliable than Awareness," published in 2003 by Huang Hongzhang and Ma Xiaoli in the magazine *China Testing and Quarantine*, was identical to an article with the same name published in the *PLA Daily* on January 30, 2002, raising doubts about plagiarism.

The journalist entered the China Journal Full-text Database and searched for the article theme using the keyword "system is more reliable than awareness." It was found that there were only two articles: one from the *PLA Daily* on January 30, 2002, written by Party Gaochao, which can still be found on the *PLA Daily* website; the other was published in *China Testing and Quarantine* on February 10, 2003, authored by Ma Xiaoli and Huang Hongzhang. After comparison, the two articles are almost identical except for slight differences in paragraphing.

Huang Yibo's father, Huang Hongzhang, is the deputy director of the Political Work Department of Hubei Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, while his mother, Ma Xiaoli, works at the Wuhan Air Force Airport Support Equipment Research and Development Center. The journalist repeatedly called Huang Hongzhang's mobile phone last night but could not get through, thus failing to obtain a response from Huang.

Since both articles start with "There is a book discussing impressions of America, titled *The President Cannot Be Trusted*," some netizens pointed out: "That book is called *The President Is Not Reliable*, authored by Linda. Huang plagiarized ignorantly, even copying down the incorrect book title."
