Whirlpool washing machine non-stop water intake
Fault phenomenon: After powering on, the machine continues to take in water even when the preset water level is reached.
Testing and judgment: This fault usually occurs in the water intake circuit. The fact that the machine can take in water indicates that the water intake valve and the bidirectional thyristor are normal. It is estimated that the problem may lie in the drive circuit of the bidirectional thyristor. The water intake circuit is composed of transistor V313 and its related components. When in the water intake state, the working voltage of each pole of transistor V313 was detected. The collector voltage of 0.6V is normal. However, it was found that the base voltage of V313 was also 0.6V (which should be greater than 1V under normal working conditions). In the washing working state, the base voltage of V313 was around 0.6V, and the collector voltage was about 5V. It was judged that transistor V313 was damaged.
Handling method: Replace V313 with the same model, test the machine, and the fault was eliminated.
Repair experience: Repairing this kind of fault requires a certain electronic technical foundation. Edited and organized by Wang Gang from Beijing Whirlpool Washing Machine Repair Center.
