Bosch Washing Machine Does Not Wash

Fault Symptoms: Normal water intake, but no water retention inside the machine and no washing action.

Inspection and Judgment: The lack of water retention inside the machine is caused by the drainage pipe being placed on the ground or positioned too low. Drum washing machines do not have a drainage valve; they use a drainage pump for water discharge. During water filling, if the drainage pipe is placed on the ground or positioned too low, the water entering the outer drum will flow out along the drainage pipe. Since the washing machine cannot retain water, it does not reach the preset water level, so the water level switch does not activate, causing the washing machine to fail to start its washing operation.

Repair Method: Hang the end of the drainage pipe outlet 60-100cm above the bottom of the washing machine (or hang it on the edge of the sink). Power on the machine for testing, and the fault will be resolved.
