Our press (reporter Lian Qingqing, correspondent Yun Jian) reports that the Baiyun District Procuratorate of Guangzhou City informed the media about a case where a married woman was raped but instead of defending her legal rights, she colluded with her husband to extort money from the rapist.

According to the notification from the Baiyun District Procuratorate, Zhou and her husband Wang have children together, but they also developed romantic relationships with Kong and Ji respectively. In mid-May this year, Kong forcibly had sexual intercourse with Zhou despite her resistance.

Zhou immediately called Wang and Ji, who then rushed to Guangzhou from Hunan and Guangxi respectively. The three of them tricked Kong into coming to a rental apartment where they assaulted him and demanded compensation. Kong managed to escape when they were not paying attention. When the four of them were struggling near the rental apartment, a security guard approached to inquire about the situation and subsequently took them to the police station for investigation.
