What are the steps in the silencer design for ventilation ducts in York air conditioning?
Firstly, according to the frequency spectrum of the noise source, the noise attenuation amount of the duct system, and the actual allowable noise standard indoors, determine the required sound reduction amount of the silencer.
Secondly, according to the given duct airflow, choose an appropriate flow velocity to determine the effective cross-sectional area of the silencer. The wind speed through the chamber silencer should not exceed 5m/s (Beijing York Air Conditioning After-sales Service Hotline); the wind speed through the silencer elbow should not exceed 8m/s; the wind speed through other types of silencers should not exceed 10m/s.
