Shenzhen News (Reported by Yuxueqing and Yangli) - Around 10 PM the previous evening, at the Emerald Dance Hall on the fourth floor of Kuichong Grand Hotel in Longgang District, Shenzhen, an argument broke out between five customers and hotel staff after the former were refused their request for "ladies of the night," leading to a violent fight with weapons. Two hotel waiters were stabbed to death on the spot, while another waiter was injured and sent to the hospital for treatment.
When the reporter arrived at the fourth floor of Kuichong Grand Hotel in Longgang District, there were still bloodstains in the hall, and the hotel chairs and tables were in disarray. Xiao Zhou, who was responsible for the night shift that day, said that around 9 PM, five men came to the hotel dance hall. An hour later, after having several drinks, the guests began shouting for "ladies." The duty manager then went to the private room to explain the situation, but the guests ignored him. One man pulled out a dagger and chased after the waiters along with the other four.
A knife-wielding man fiercely stabbed waiters Xiao Pei and Xiao Zou, causing them to fall to the ground immediately after being hit in the chest. On his way back, the knife-wielding man encountered another waiter, Xiao Liu, who was serving tea, and stabbed him in the ribs.
It is reported that both deceased were around 20 years old, one of whom had been working at the dance hall for less than a month. Currently, all five perpetrators have been criminally detained by the police on suspicion of intentional homicide.
