The entire process of obscuring took less than 10 seconds

At around 8:10 PM the other night, the Airport Traffic Police Detachment was conducting a unified law enforcement operation codenamed "Uncover." Just as the operation began, the on-duty traffic police discovered from the video surveillance system a suspicious red taxi with the license plate number粤B32D27 that was moving intermittently. Staff immediately began tracking and monitoring it continuously. Finally, the taxi stopped at the airport roundabout, the driver got out of the car, holding a blue towel, walked to the back of the taxi and directly hung the towel over the rear license plate.

After the driver skillfully adjusted it, the hanging towel perfectly obscured the license plate. The entire process, which lasted less than 10 seconds, was completely recorded by the video surveillance system.

Patrolling officers immediately rushed to the scene for investigation, but the taxi had already left.

Obscuring the license plate was to avoid electronic eyes

Subsequently, the police verified through the license plate number on the surveillance video that the taxi belonged to Shenzhen Road Network Communication Transport Industry Co., Ltd. Thus, the police contacted the taxi driver, Mr. Wu, through the responsible person at Road Network Communication. Mr. Wu admitted to the police that he was aware there were surveillance cameras on the airport roundabout section, so he decided to obscure the license plate while driving, but did not expect his "excellent performance" to be completely captured on camera.

According to reports, Mr. Wu will be fined six thousand yuan, and his driver's license will be suspended for six months. At around 2 PM yesterday afternoon, Mr. Wu went to the Airport Traffic Police Detachment to pay the fine and hand over his driver's license.
