The outpatient department was closed yesterday morning, and Ren Facun did not show up after the incident. Our reporter Wei Guangjin took the photo.

Our reporter in Yangling (Wei Guangjin) - A 7-year-old boy suffering from cold and fever was brought to a private outpatient department for medical treatment by his parents. In order to take care of the boy, the family asked the 13-year-old sister to accompany him. After arriving at the clinic on a three-wheeled motorcycle, the girl's eyes became inflamed, so the parents asked the doctor to check her condition as well. The doctor diagnosed that the girl needed an intravenous drip. During the injection, the girl suddenly vomited and was sent to another hospital but died after unsuccessful resuscitation. Currently, the health department has not seen the owner of the private outpatient department.

It was originally planned for the 13-year-old sister to accompany her 7-year-old brother to see a doctor, but she ended up dying during the IV treatment.

Yesterday, I went to Cuijia Village, Wquan Town, Yangling District, Yangling Demonstration Zone. From the house of the deceased Wang Mou, there came heart-wrenching cries.

Under the support of his neighbors, the father of the child, Wang Wenshe, with tears streaming down his face, said that on the morning of September 12, his 7-year-old son had a cold and fever, so he used a three-wheeled motorcycle to take his son to a private clinic in Wquan Town for treatment. Considering that no one would look after the child, Wang Wenshe also brought along his 13-year-old daughter, thinking that his son could have some company while receiving the injection.

After arriving at the clinic, he noticed that his daughter's eyes were a bit red, so he asked if it hurt. His daughter replied that it didn't hurt. Wang Wenshe thought that since they were already at the clinic, he might as well let the doctor casually check his daughter's eyes. After checking, the doctor said that there was nothing serious with the eyes, just inflammation, and that an IV drip would solve the issue.

After hearing this, Wang Wenshe felt particularly sorry for his daughter and agreed to the doctor's treatment plan. When the first bottle of IV was administered, his daughter showed signs of discomfort. When the second bottle was given, his daughter began convulsing all over, turned pale, and started vomiting. Upon seeing this, Wang Wenshe quickly called "120". After the emergency doctors arrived, they immediately took his daughter to the Yangling Demonstration Zone Hospital, where she died after unsuccessful resuscitation attempts.

The involved clinic was closed yesterday, and the police station has intervened in the investigation.

Yesterday, I went to Ren Facun's "Wquan Town Outpatient Department" on the street of Wquan Town and saw the door tightly shut.

According to the neighbors of the clinic, after the incident (the death caused by treatment), Ren Facun closed the door and has not been seen since.

Shang Yunjie, an instructor at the Wquan Police Station of the Yangling Demonstration Zone Public Security Bureau, introduced that the main investigating unit is the Health Bureau. However, as it involves a death caused by medical treatment, their police station immediately intervened in the investigation. The 13-year-old deceased accompanied her 7-year-old brother to the clinic for medical treatment. At the time, the deceased had eye inflammation, and the doctor gave her an IV drip, which led to her death during treatment.

Li Suizong, deputy director of the Yangling District Health Bureau of the Yangling Demonstration Zone in charge of medical affairs, said that the Health Bureau learned about the matter on the evening of September 12. After receiving notification from the district government, they intervened in the investigation but are unclear about the detailed investigation situation. Currently, the clinic has not been suspended from practicing medicine, nor has its qualification certificate been revoked.

The involved clinic has legal qualifications, and the parents hope relevant departments can provide an explanation.

Zhang Yaohui, the director of the Health Supervision Office participating in the investigation, stated that the clinic has legitimate qualifications. They are currently involved in coordination, but the main responsible person, Ren Facun, has not shown up yet. According to information obtained via phone calls, at the time, the girl accompanying her younger brother for the injection had eye inflammation. During the first bottle of the IV drip, the child began to show adverse reactions. The second bottle contained rescue medication, but the child still could not be saved.

Uncle Wang Changfeng of the deceased child said that the incident occurred at noon, and the clinic closed its doors without anyone showing up. When calling the Health Bureau, the on-duty personnel claimed that no one was working on Sunday. It wasn't until around 9 p.m. that Wang Wenshe's family, having nowhere else to turn, went to the Yangling District Government to seek justice. Under the intervention of government leaders, relevant departments finally intervened in the investigation.

Wang Wenshe said that his child died at such a young age, and he hopes that relevant departments can give the deceased child a fair judgment. As the most direct party involved, until now, no one from the Health Bureau has contacted him to inquire about the events of that day.
