Rednet, Chenzhou, September 8th (reporter Zhimin Yang, Bo Liu) - Recently, in the blog of NetEase, a man from Yongxing County, Chenzhou City, Hunan Province, demanded the construction contracting right from the construction party on the grounds that the latter was constructing on his land. After being rejected, the man forcibly disrupted the construction site multiple times. On September 6th, the man was legally detained for five days by the Yongxing police for disrupting public order.
On September 5th, the police officers stationed at the Longshan North Road Project received an emergency call stating that Luo, a villager near the construction site, was obstructing the construction work. Upon investigation, it was found that Luo claimed the Longshan North Road Project had occupied his family's land and thus requested the construction party to give him the project’s contracting rights. Since the construction party did not agree, Luo blocked the excavator at the construction site, preventing it from working normally. After understanding the situation, the police took Luo away from the construction site, explained relevant laws and regulations to him, and conducted ideological work. The next day, ignoring the advice given to him, Luo returned to the construction site and disrupted the work again. The police then decisively took measures, forcibly removed him from the site, and sentenced him to five days of administrative detention.
