Chengdu Business Daily (Journalist Gou Ming, Intern Journalist Peng Juan of the Provincial Public Security Propaganda Department): Lu has gone missing! Huang has gone missing! Ran has gone missing... Between April and June this year, there were repeated incidents of female students going missing in the Mianyang urban area.
According to feedback from a victimized girl who had been forced into prostitution, the main suspect is a teenage girl nicknamed "Dan Dan," whose real name is Deng, aged 16, and was previously a student at a middle school in the urban area. She, along with others, formed an organized gang that forced girls into prostitution; some members were specifically responsible for finding and threatening victims, while others provided venues for the illegal activities.
On June 30, the police apprehended the suspect responsible for coordination. On September 15, Deng, aged 16, was arrested, along with two other gang members: Liu, a 15-year-old girl, and Lin, a 14-year-old girl. The suspects made a total profit of 60,000 yuan from their criminal activities. Currently, out of the eight suspects arrested, three have been criminally detained, and five have been released on bail. Fifteen teenage girls have been rescued and returned to their families.
